NTT Data, a Japanese IT firm, is set to invest $500 million in India over the next 12 to 18 months to enhance its AI capabilities and expand data center operations. The company plans to increase its data center capacity by 210 MW, supporting sovereign cloud solutions for the financial sector. Additionally, NTT Data is upgrading its Bengaluru Innovation Centre to focus on AI, digital twin technology, and quantum computing, having already invested over $3 billion in India since 2007.
